Q: How much does a diagnostic cost?
A: Our standard diagnostic fee is $50 in shop and $100 onsite

Q: Do I have to pay for a diagnostic to be performed, even if I think I already know what is wrong with my computer?
A: Yes, that way we can make sure your computer is properly fixed, and that you aren’t wasting your money on repairs that may not be needed.

Q: Does the diagnostic fee go towards paying for repairs?
A: Yes, the diagnostic fee will be discounted from any repair costs on the machine that is diagnosed.

Q: About how long will it take for my computer to be fixed?
A: We run on a first-come, first-served basis unless Emergency Service is required. We can usually get the diagnostic done in 2-3 hours and have the repairs finished in less than 48 hours, depending on the nature of the problem or repairs. Weekend repairs which require ordering parts may take longer because your parts won't be shipped to us until Monday. (Obviously simple problems can be diagnosed and fixed in a matter of minutes not hours.)

Q: What about simple repairs? How long do they take?
A: Simple repairs can range from a few minutes for adding more memory or fixing a printer setup to less than an hour for changing out a power supply or configuring your wireless network.

Q: Do you offer any kind of Rush Service or any way to get my computer diagnosed and fixed faster?
A: Yes, we do offer Emergency Rush Service for all of our repairs at an additional shop fee of $35 or an additional $25 per hour for onsite diagnostics and repairs. Some repairs can be completed overnight if necessary.

Q: Do you service printers?
A: Yes, but our ability to fix them depends on the available parts for your printer.

Q: Do you service tablets, phones or iPods?
A: Yes, we can replace your screen or perform minor repairs.

Q: Do you charge by the hour?
A: That depends on what the service is, but we guarantee the lowest price.

Q: How much does the average repair cost?
A: Repairs can range from $50 for an Annual Basic Computer Security Scan & Cleaning to several hundred dollars for an entire rebuild of a computer with brand specific replacement parts. It totally depends on what you really need or want for your specific system. With that said, on average, most repairs are under $150.

Q: Do you build custom computers?
A: Yes, we do. We offer custom built computers made to your exact specifications. We will work with you to offer the best price and performance that fits your needs and your budget. Sometimes the best value can be found in customizing a prebuilt computer available on sale locally. Other times your specifications require a totally custom computer system and cabinet. All of our custom built machines come with a 1 year warranty.

Q: Is there a warranty for any of the replaced parts?
A: In addition to any manufacturer warranties, if applicable, we offer a 30-day warranty on all new parts and repairs.

Q: Do you accept walk-ins?
A: Yes, but at this time we do not have regular business hours so we highly recommend you call before driving over to drop off your computer. If we are out on a service call we will be happy to pick up your computer for free in the alle-kiski valley. We also do remote repairs by appointment to save you time.
